우수논문상 8편, 캡스톤 디자인 우수상 6편 수상

동서대학교 일반대학원 영상콘텐츠학과 석사. 박사과정의 대학원생들이 대만에서 개최된 ICCC(International Conference on Convergence Content) 국제학술대회에서 우수논문상 8편과 캡스톤 디자인 경진대회 우수상 6편 등 총 14편을 수상하는 성과를 거두었다.

ICCC 국제학술대회는 대만의 국립인 타이베이 과학기술대학교에서 개최되었으며, 약 280편의 논문 가운데 각 세션 좌장의 추천을 받은 논문들을 대상으로 엄정한 심사를 거쳐 2026년 3월 16일에 최종 수상자가 선정되었다.

특히 이번 국제학술대회에서 영상콘텐츠학과 대학원생들은 ‘최우수 발표 논문상(Best Presentation Paper Award)’과 ‘캡스톤 디자인 경진대회 우수상(Outstanding Award)’을 동시에 수상하며, 학문적 성과뿐 아니라 창의적 기획 및 제작 역량까지 국제무대에서 연구 경쟁력을 인정받았다.

이와 같은 결과는 단순한 논문 발표를 넘어, 이론 연구와 콘텐츠 창작을 결합한 융합형 연구 성과가 글로벌 학술 무대에서 경쟁력을 확보했음을 보여주는 결과로 평가된다. 수상자들에 대한 시상은 2026년 3월 18일, 일반대학원 영상콘텐츠학과에서 있었으며, 수상자들의 성과를 기념, 축하하였다.

BK21 미래영상콘텐츠 창의융합 교육연구단장 최원호 교수는 “이번 ICCC는 연구 성과를 국제무대에서 검증받는 동시에, 글로벌 학술 네트워크를 확장하는 중요한 계기가 되었으며, 이를 바탕으로 연구와 창작이 유기적으로 결합된 성과가 지속적으로 창출되고, 대학원생들의 연구역량 또한 한층 강화될 것으로 기대한다”고 밝혔다.
